I acted as the creative lead, responsible for defining Wahyoo visual direction and ensuring that all design work was directly aligned with marketing and business objectives. We began by establishing a clear, adaptable design framework. This involved setting simple, effective guidelines for color usage, typography, and composition that ensured every asset from a quick Instagram story to a technical app banner was instantly recognizable as Wahyoo. This foundational work was key to achieving speed and consistency.
My leadership focused on empowering the design team while maintaining strict quality control. I translated high-level business goals (like boosting app downloads or feature adoption) into clear, actionable design briefs. Instead of just assigning tasks, I ensured the team understood the strategic purpose behind each asset, turning them into partners in solving the marketing challenge.
We implemented an efficient review and iteration cycle. I managed the stakeholder feedback process, filtering diverse input into concise, single-point directions for the designers. This minimized back-and-forth and allowed us to quickly pivot based on performance data to ensuring we consistently delivered designs that weren’t just aesthetically pleasing, but were validated by measurable results like increased click-through rates or engagement rates
Ultimately, I drove the project from concept to delivery, successfully building a high-velocity design system that consistently delivered on-brand, performance-driven creative across all digital touchpoints. This experience highlights my ability to set strategic creative direction and lead a team to execute at scale and pace.
